Dr. Hall is a journeyman musician, singer/songwriter, bandleader, and producer from Santa Fe, New Mexico who grew up in Idaho. His music encompasses influences from Americana, Chicago blues, Texas blues, and the country blues, as well as country, western and classic rock music.

Liquid Silver is a 3-piece ensemble blending flute, keyboard, guitar, and bass into our own interpretations of music from a variety of genres.  We play both familiar and new tunes including soft rock, folk, classics  through the decades, and selections of world music.  We are Karen Conley (flute), Linda Tachau (keyboard, guitar, and vocals) and Suzanne Birrell (not pictured on bass and vocals), bringing many years of experience teaching music, composing, arranging, and performing.

Drawing inspiration from artists such as Johnny Cash and Neil Young, Johnny Lloyd brings out the spirit of Americana with his impressive guitar skills and wide vocal range. Johnny’s musical path was influenced by his mother, a church organist, when she introduced him to Gospel at a young age. He joined his first band when he was 12 years old and has been playing solo and with friends ever since.

Bassett's musical style can be described as a fusion of alternative rock, folk, and singer-songwriter influences. Through his captivating performances, he creates an intimate atmosphere that allows the focus to be on the profound lyrics and the powerful emotions they evoke.

Alex has opened for a wide array of artists, including Etta James, G. Love and Special Sauce, Bo Diddley Bonnie Raitt, Lyle Lovett, Leon Russell, Corey Harris, Blues Traveler, and Otis Taylor, among others. He’s made incendiary appearances at the Telluride Blues and Brews Festival, and the King Biscuit Blues Festival. Two of his songs have been selected to appear in the Guy Pierce thriller First Snow(2007) directed by Mark Fergus. He’s also earned the “Best Blues Song” award at the New Mexico’s MIC Awards.
